What an awesome start to the Holiday Season! We got up early (as per usual), stopped for a gingerbread latte (me) & peppermint mocha (Drew) and then headed to Home Depot. While Drew was stocking up on shower finishing supplies, Griffin and I hung out near the Christmas lights where there was a singing Elmo. Griff was ENTHRALLED and danced along, charming everyone who walked by. That is also where he found a cluster of rocking horses that became his BEST FRIENDS. He huddled in the middle of them, pointed at each one, earnestly telling me "horse"!! and then sweetly saying "neigh" to them. Then, when we had to leave, he petted and kissed each one goodbye!! SWEETEST. EVER. So, of course, we helped Santa with an awesome purchase & we should have one thrilled little boy on Christmas Day!
Later, I put up most of our outdoor Christmas lights so the house is looking extra festive. We had a super yummy Thanksgiving Again dinner, and we watched some Christmas movies. I even got several people crossed off my shopping list! AND Griff had an awesome night going to sleep again. Things are feeling good!!
